PROLOGUE
"So, why did you choose him?"
"You didn't know? I always choose those that have special talents." I replied.
"So is it because he's the last of his kind?" I looked down from the cliff, thinking of an appropriate answer to give her. The trees rustled, as the wind blew and I could hear the birds sing their morning songs.
"I guess that's one reason" my voice sounded like a young boy, too young; it was so inappropriate for conversations like these but it never changes.
